Derek McLean Born 21/12/1932 in Brotton, North Yorkshire, England Derek was a professional footballer who played for Middlesbrough FC from Season 1955-56 until he left to join Hartlepool after season 1961-62 He played as part of a prolific forward line that included internationals such as Brian Clough, Alan Peacock, Edwin Holliday and Billy Day and scored 30 goals in 119 appearances.
